1. Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter "GTCS") govern the sale of books published and marketed by La Food Experience, available on the website www.lafoodexperience.com (hereinafter "the Site").

The purchase of a book implies full acceptance of these GTC by the customer.

2. Concept and purpose

La Food Experience books invite readers to (re)discover Paris through a selection of partner establishments (restaurants, coffee shops, tearooms, wineries, artisans, etc.).

The books are first and foremost an experiential and cultural guide to visiting Paris.
The tastings mentioned in the books are offered by the partner establishments and are their sole responsibility.

3. How partner tastings work

The tasting is a bonus, offered by the establishments listed in the guide.

Under no circumstances does it constitute a service purchased by the customer from La Food Experience.

The availability of products or services depends exclusively on the partner establishment.

As a result :

The Food Experience cannot be held responsible in the event of temporary or permanent closure of a partner, unavailability of a product or modification of an offer.

No financial compensation can be claimed from La Food Experience.

4. Controls

Books can be ordered :

via the Website,

via partner sales outlets (bookstores, concept stores, chain stores): according to their own General Terms and Conditions of Sale

All orders are firm and final after validation and payment.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are quoted in euros, inclusive of all taxes.
Payment is due immediately upon ordering, by credit card or any other secure payment method offered on the Site.

6. Delivery

Books are shipped to the delivery address indicated by the customer at the time of ordering.
Delivery times are indicative and may vary depending on the carrier.

7. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, customers have 14 days from receipt of their order to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to justify their decision.

This right does not apply to digital books (e-books).

8. Liability

The Food Experience declines all responsibility:

in the event of closure or change in the conditions of partner establishments,

in the event of a tasting dispute between the customer and the partner establishment,

if the book is used for purposes other than those for which it was intended.

9. Personal data

The data collected at the time of ordering is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD).
It is necessary for the management of orders and will never be resold to third parties without prior consent.

10. Applicable law and disputes

These General Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.
Any dispute shall be brought before the competent Paris courts, unless otherwise provided by mandatory legal provisions.
